Samuel Arvaneh has extensive experience in officiating technology and video operations within collegiate sports. Currently, as Associate Director of Officiating Technology at the Big Ten Conference since May 2019, Samuel oversees all video operations for multiple sports, utilizing video analysis and data trends to enhance official training and inform stakeholders in real time regarding operational changes. Prior to this role, Samuel served as Associate Video Production Analyst at Boston College, where responsibilities included managing coaching film production for the football team. Additional experience includes roles as Video Intern at the Big Ten Conference and Assistant Director of Photography/Manager at BowieMedia. Samuel began a career in video coordination at the University of Maryland while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same institution.
