Marie Barret has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Marie currently works as a Consumer Insights Architect at InnoSolve Consulting since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Growth Officer at BIG Transform, a Business Innovation Consultancy in London, from January 2019 onwards. Marie also served as the Chief Business Accelerator at BIG Transform from February 2018 to December 2018.

Before joining BIG Transform, Marie worked at Blond Ideas Ltd as a Lead Innovator from August 2015 to February 2018. Additionally, they were involved in promoting the BICK CONSORTIUM at JULHIET STERWEN GROUP from June 2013 to September 2013 and also worked at BeCommerce, the Belgium federation of businesses operating in distance selling, from April 2011 to May 2012.

Furthermore, Marie gained experience at Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores Uruguay from July 2010 to September 2010, where they participated in various projects. Lastly, they worked at sanofi-aventis from September 2009 to November 2009, focusing on developing internal and external campaigns for Shanghai Expo 2010.

Marie Barret has a diverse education history spanning several institutions. Marie began their education at Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel from 1995 to 2007, where they obtained an International Baccalaureat with majors in English Language & Literature, History of Europe XXth C, and French Language & Literature. Following this, they attended George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs from 2007 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Art degree in International Affairs. Marie then pursued their studies at EBS Paris - European Business School from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs. Continuing their academic journey, they attended Institut catholique de Paris from 2012 to 2013, obtaining a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs. Finally, Marie attended UCL from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Msc International Public Policy with a focus on Public Policy Analysis.
