Jake Pechtel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jake currently serves as the Director of Product Management at BIGGBY COFFEE since November 2021. Prior to this, Jake worked at TechSmith Corporation for several years, where they held multiple positions including Product Manager for Audiate, Senior Product Strategist for Camtasia, and Product Marketing Manager. Jake'scontributions included developing product strategies, achieving high retention rates, securing funding, and leading marketing efforts.
Before joining TechSmith, Jake worked as a Marketing Content Specialist for Wolverine World Wide and served as the Director of Public Relations at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, Michigan State University. Jake also held the position of Director of Communications at Potter Park Zoo/Ingham County Parks, where they established the organization's communications department and achieved significant attendance growth.
Earlier in their career, Jake held leadership roles at Reaxion, a mobile application development studio, and Superscape, where they managed carrier accounts and oversaw game launches and collaborations with developers. Jake also worked at WDA as the Director of Games & Applications, managing developer relations and launching numerous products in carrier storefronts.
Overall, Jake Pechtel has extensive experience in product management, marketing, public relations, and communications, with a strong track record of achieving business goals and driving growth.
Jake Pechtel attended Full Sail University from 2003 to 2004, where they studied Audio Engineering / Sound Design. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Lansing Community College, focusing on Graphic Design.
