Isabella Koen has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Isabella holds the position of Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music since August 2021. Prior to this, in 2020, they were self-employed. Isabella has also worked as an artist since January 2012. In 2019, they served as the Director of Service and Education at Bikes Not Bombs. Isabella gained experience in the museum field as an intern for the Contemporary Art Department at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from May 2017 to September 2017. Isabella's earlier experience includes ten years as a Master Mechanic and Teacher at Bikes Not Bombs from June 2007 to August 2017.

While attending CareerFoundry, Isabella focused on UX/UI Design.

Bikes Not Bombs
Bikes Not Bombs uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change to achieve economic mobility for Black and other marginalized people in Boston and the Global South. We reclaim thousands of bicycles each year. We create local and global programs that provide skill development, jobs, and sustainable transportation. Our programs mobilize youth and adults to be leaders in community transformation.
