Shelly Vandenberg

Shelly Vandenberg currently serves as the AML Compliance Systems & Analytics Sr Program Manager at BILL since September 2023. Prior to this role, Vandenberg held the position of Risk Policy & Strategy Sr Director at Stax Payments from October 2022 to August 2023. Vandenberg has extensive experience at PayPal, with roles including Business Risk & Controls Lead Manager and Analytics Rule Optimization/Governance Manager from September 2017 to October 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as BSA/AML Compliance Officer at Security National Bank from January 2015 to August 2017 and various positions in AML investigations at PayPal from January 2010 to January 2015. Vandenberg earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Walden University in 2016 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security and Psychology from the same institution in 2015.
