Pragyan Patnaik

Pragyan Patnaik currently serves as the Head of International Affairs at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) since January 2024. Prior to this role, Pragyan was the Deputy Director of International Relations at KiiT University from June 2015 to May 2021 and worked as an Advisor to International Researchers in the International Office at the University of Bremen from August 2014 to June 2015. Additionally, Pragyan held positions as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover between October 2010 and May 2015, focusing on microbial activity in anaerobic digestion. Earlier experience includes an apprenticeship in International Relations at Leibniz Universität Hannover and a trainee position at Agilent Technologies, where Pragyan contributed to a project promoting women's involvement in health and environmental initiatives. Pragyan holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology and a degree in Environmental Biotechnology from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
