Michael Tanzini

Michael Tanzini currently serves as the Records Manager and FOIL Officer at Binghamton University, responsible for developing and managing Freedom of Information inquiries and overseeing records retention since May 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Legislative Analyst and Second Deputy Clerk at Broome County Legislature from June 2018 to May 2024. Tanzini's background in broadcasting includes positions as an Anchor/Reporter at WIVT/WBGH NewsChannel 34, a Production Assistant at WICZ Fox 40, and production internships at WRVO Public Media and WTOP-10 TV. Education was completed at the State University of New York at Oswego with a focus in Broadcasting/Mass Communication, complemented by studies at SUNY Broome Community College.
