Elisa Barrett

Elisa Barrett, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and business development sectors. Elisa began their career as an Account Executive at Robert A. Becker, Inc., where they worked on brand activities and contributed to brand strategy and positioning. Elisa then joined Quest Diagnostics as a Product Manager, where they developed marketing strategies and launched new products in the prenatal testing area. Since 2006, Elisa has been with Bio-Rad Laboratories, holding various roles including Senior Product Manager and Global Marketing Manager in autoimmune and gut microbiome projects. In their most recent position as Associate Director of Marketing, they oversee autoimmune marketing initiatives. Throughout their career, Elisa has showcased their expertise in assessing market potential, strategic planning, and managing intellectual property portfolios and agreements with licensees.

Elisa Barrett holds a PhD in Genetics from Harvard University, which they obtained from 1994 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley from 1990 to 1994.
