Lydia Welsh

Lydia Welsh serves as the Global Director of Revenue Accounting at Bio-Rad Laboratories, having joined the company in June 2018. With extensive experience in revenue accounting, Lydia oversees the Global Revenue function, managing operations across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA, and plays a crucial role in implementing global policies and annual strategies. Prior to this position, Lydia held roles including Sr. Global Revenue Manager and Americas Revenue Accounting Manager at Bio-Rad, where responsibilities included spearheading the global revenue function, overseeing significant annual revenues, and leading the implementation of ASC 606 standards. Lydia's earlier experience includes senior revenue accounting roles at BioMarin and i365 A Seagate Company, demonstrating a strong track record in financial analysis, contract review, and process improvements. Educational qualifications include a Business Administration degree from California State University - East Bay and an Associate’s Degree in Business - Accounting from Contra Costa College.
