Anna K. Michel Vervoort

Anna K. Michel Vervoort, PhD, currently serves as the Manager of Plate-Based Assay Development at Bio-Techne since October 2021, following a tenure as a Senior Scientist and Supervisor at R&D Systems from April 2016 to November 2021, where leadership of the screening team for Quantikine ELISA assay development was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Anna held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota, focusing on tobacco-specific nitrosamines and DNA interactions under the Hecht lab. Academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Montana State University, where innovative techniques in glycosylation and glycodendrimer synthesis were developed, complemented by a BA in Chemistry from Macalester College. Early career experience features a role as a Laboratory Technician at RECEPTORS, LLC, contributing to high throughput screening systems.
