Olivia Funk

Olivia Funk is a Quality Control Supervisor at Bio-Techne, overseeing QC testing for the manufacturing transfer of approximately 150 ProteinSimple liquid consumables, ensuring high product quality through collaboration across multiple sites. Previously, Olivia served as an Advanced Research Associate and Research Associate I at HiberCell, focusing on bioassays and biomarker detection for cancer drug development. Olivia’s experience also includes an impactful role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota's Freedman Lab, where independent research on murine macrophages was conducted. Further research contributions involved exploring the cardiovascular effects of acetaminophen and aspirin on zebrafish. Earlier experience encompasses an Immunophenotyping Research Internship at HiberCell and a retail position at Eagan Hardware Hank. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and has also pursued Marine Biology at the University of Tampa.
