Tal Ben Shalom has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tal currently serves as the Chief Architect at BioCatch, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Viber from 2016 to 2021, initially as a Solutions Architect and later taking on the additional role of Spam prevention lead. At Viber, they were responsible for planning new features, managing data processes and infrastructure planning, and developing a scalable event-driven system for spam prevention.

Before Viber, Tal worked as the CTO at CartMagnet from 2014 to 2016, where they played a key role in the development of their native commerce solution for publishers. In 2015, they were a Software Architect at Sela Group, where they focused on the architecture of a distributed cloud system for global alarm systems.

Tal's career began in 2001 at N.T.R as a Developer and Team Leader, and later as a Senior Team Leader and Technical Leader until 2007. Tal then joined Ness Technologies as a Software Architect and Program Manager in 2007-2008. Lastly, from 2008 to 2014, they worked at Microsoft as a Senior Consulting Architect, primarily focusing on designing cloud-based solutions and driving adoption of cloud-oriented design patterns.

Tal Ben Shalom completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at The Open University of Israel. Later, from 2015 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the same institution.
