Sam Abujudeh

Sam Abujudeh is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Biofidelity since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sam held multiple positions at BenevolentAI from November 2019 to July 2023, including AI Lead for Precision Medicine, Senior AI Scientist, and Advanced AI Scientist. Additional experience includes a Visiting Scientist role at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute from October 2019 to October 2021 and another Visiting Scientist position at the University of Oxford from June 2018 to September 2019. Sam completed a PhD in Mathematical Genomics and Medicine at the University of Cambridge from 2015 to 2019 and an MPhil in Computational Biology at the same institution from 2013 to 2014. Sam's early career included roles at CSC from 2008 to June 2013, culminating in positions as Service Delivery Manager and Operations Manager. Academic foundations were built with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College London from 2003 to 2007.
