Cheryl Berkowitz has extensive work experience in the field of medical writing and scientific editing. Cheryl is currently serving as the Associate Director of Medical Writing at Bioforum - The Data Masters. Prior to this, Cheryl worked as a consultant, taking on roles as a Scientific Editor and Market Researcher. Cheryl also held various positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals, including Post-Approval RA Project Manager and CMC Writer. Additionally, Cheryl worked at Bio-Technology General as a Technical Writer and Regulatory Affairs Associate, and at Rosetta Genomics and Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer as a Patent Advisor.
Cheryl Berkowitz holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology, which they obtained from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1988 to 1995. Prior to that, they pursued their M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology at The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. Cheryl also completed their undergraduate education at the University of Alberta from 1981 to 1985, earning a B.Sc. in Microbiology.
