Andrew Mica, PE, MBA, serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Engineering & Technical Services at Biogen, overseeing biosimilars assets and ensuring operational alignment between Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology and the Biosimilars Business Unit. Prior roles at Biogen include Head of Operations for Global Product Strategy & Commercialization and Senior Director of Gene Therapy Manufacturing Operations. Andrew has a strong background in supply chain management, having held significant positions at Amgen, including Executive Director of Global Supply Chain Planning & Logistics. Andrew's career commenced with GSK, where responsibilities included leading manufacturing optimization for a substantial product portfolio. Andrew's military experience includes service as Chief Scout Sniper in the United States Marine Corps. Academic qualifications include a BS in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from California State University.
