Brian Fahie

Brian Fahie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Vice President and Global Head of Quality Control at Biogen since June 2014. In this role, Brian oversees all activities related to commercial product release across internal and external manufacturing sites. Previous leadership positions at Biogen include serving as Vice President and Global Head of Combination Product Device and Packaging Development (Interim) and Vice President and Global Head of Analytical Development, where oversight included a diverse portfolio featuring monoclonal antibodies and gene therapies. Prior to Biogen, Brian worked at Eli Lilly and Company as Senior Director of Product Development and held the position of Senior Manager at GSK. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry - Physical Organic from McMaster University, a BSc. in Chemistry - Honours from Dalhousie University, and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry at The University of British Columbia.
