Lawrence Wai

Lawrence Wai is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as Vice President and Head of the US Neuropsychiatry Franchise at Biogen since October 2018. Prior to Biogen, Lawrence held multiple leadership roles at Novartis from August 2013 to September 2018, including Regional Director of Systems of Care Account Management and Head of Strategy and Operations for various franchises. Earlier in the career, Lawrence worked as a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and held positions at Merck, focusing on neuroscience and psychiatry marketing and product development. Lawrence holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and both a Master of Engineering in Pharmaceutical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
