Patrick Gammell

Patrick Gammell is an accomplished professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing & Technical Operations at Biogen since October 2020, after previously holding the position of Vice President, Global Manufacturing Sciences. Prior experience includes key roles at Amgen from August 2013 to October 2020, where Patrick Gammell advanced from Executive Director to roles in Process Development. Earlier experience includes a position as Principal Development Scientist at Pfizer from October 2007 to July 2013, focusing on mammalian process development and regulatory submissions. Prior to these roles, Patrick Gammell contributed as a Senior Researcher at Dublin City University and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College Cork, specializing in cell biology and the molecular mechanisms of industrial phenotypes.
