Peter Paras

Peter Paras currently serves as the Assistant Controller and Senior Director of Corporate Accounting and SEC Reporting at Biogen since October 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Technical Accounting at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from September 2015 to October 2019. Peter began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where tenure spanned from June 2005 to September 2015, advancing from Audit Staff to Audit Senior Manager. Peter also gained early experience as an Audit Intern at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Summer 2004 and as an intern in the Teams Finance Department at Madison Square Garden in Summer 2003. Peter holds a degree from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, where study was completed between 2001 and 2005.
