Svetlana Bergelson

Svetlana Bergelson is an experienced leader in the field of analytical development with a focus on biologics and advanced therapeutic medicinal products. Currently serving as the Head of Analytical Development at Biogen since April 2005, Svetlana has established a comprehensive analytical function to support gene therapy modalities. Prior to Biogen, Svetlana held various positions, including Senior Director at Idenix Pharmaceuticals and multiple roles at Anadys Pharmaceuticals, Whitehead Institute, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Svetlana's educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and an MSc in Virology from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
