Ann Guggisberg

Ann Guggisberg, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Associate at BioGenerator Ventures, focusing on the creation and investment in new agtech companies in St. Louis. Previously, Ann held the position of Director of Research at Pluton Biosciences, where significant contributions included leading the development of research infrastructure and managing collaborations to optimize a novel insecticidal compound. Ann's experience also encompasses roles as a Scientific Editor at Washington University School of Medicine, where support for grant applications led to substantial funding, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate, where innovative strategies were designed to study drug-resistant malaria. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Clemson University and a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Genomics from Washington University in St. Louis.
