Emily Sexton

Emily Sexton is an experienced biochemist currently serving as the Lead Biochemist at BioLegend since January 2020, with previous experience as a Biochemist at the same organization. Before joining BioLegend, Emily worked as a Laboratory Technician at MarDx Diagnostics, Inc. from July 2016 to January 2020, where expertise in western blotting techniques was developed and essential buffers were formulated. Emily began a career in customer service as a Customer Experience Manager at Michaels Arts and Crafts from July 2012 to July 2016, managing cash handling and promoting store events. Academic credentials include a Human Biology degree from UC San Diego and an Associate’s Degree in University Sciences from Grossmont College.
