Ornella Salvatori

Ornella Salvatori is a highly experienced professional in product development and research within the biomedical field. Currently serving as Product Development Manager at BioLegend since January 2020, Ornella oversees the Product Development group in Proteogenomics, manages projects related to TotalSeq single reagents and multi-antibody panels compliant with ISO13485:2016, and leads manufacturing and quality control efforts for catalog products. Previously, Ornella held roles as Product Development Scientist II and R&D Scientist at BioLegend, contributing to the launch of multiplex cocktails for CITE-seq and collaborating on various R&D projects. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at the University at Buffalo, where Ornella studied immune responses to Candida infections, and roles as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and General Dentist. Ornella holds a PhD in Oral Biology and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from the University at Buffalo and a DDS from Universidad de Concepción.
