Yun-Jung Lee

Scientist II -bioassay Development at BioLegend, Inc.

Yun-Jung Lee, PhD, is currently a Scientist II in Bioassay Development at BioLegend since April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist at Samsung Biologics, focusing on cell line development, and as a Scientist at Takeda, where efforts centered on transient and stable transfection of CHO cells and the development of methods for difficult-to-express proteins. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, Yun-Jung Lee led a project on the role of immune cells in targeting Alzheimer’s Disease. Previous research at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center involved investigating the regulatory roles of the guanine nucleotide exchange factor vav1 on hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. Yun-Jung Lee earned a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Seoul National University.
