Katy Widmer-Boyer has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and advertising. Katy currently holds the position of VP, Associate Creative Director, Copy at Biolumina since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at cdmp as a VP, Group Copy Supervisor from 2019 to 2022, where they also held the position of Group Copy Supervisor from 2019 to 2022.
Before joining cdmp, Katy worked at H4B Catapult as a Copy Supervisor from 2018 to 2019 and as a Senior Copywriter from 2016 to 2018. During their tenure at H4B Catapult, they were responsible for leading the copy on a global launch oncology brand, as well as contributing to strategy, creative, and copy for oncology pitches.
Katy also has experience at The CDM Group as a Copywriter from 2015 to 2016, where they created a patient support team for Novo Nordisk's hemophilia franchise and built the HCP campaign for Shire's eye care space and new dry eye drug.
Katy began their career at MRM//McCann as a Proofreader from 2014 to 2015, where they worked with clients such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, IHOP, and Educational Testing Service (ETS). Katy also worked as a Freelance Proofreader from 2013 to 2014.
In addition, they have experience as an Editorial Assistant at WholeFoods Magazine from 2013 to 2014, where they wrote and edited articles on health and nutrition for a national B-to-B magazine. Finally, they worked as an Assistant Medical Editor at Tricore Inc. in 2012, where they proofread and edited pharmaceutical-related content.
Katy Widmer-Boyer has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from The College of New Jersey. In 2014, they attended MediaBistro for a course in Copywriting: Creative Ad Writing. Katy also has experience in Musical Theatre from Muhlenberg College. Additionally, they hold certifications in "Banish Your Inner Critic to Unleash Creativity," "Jeff Dyer on Innovation," and "Creativity Boot Camp," obtained from LinkedIn in June and May of 2021.
