Paul Schroeder

Paul Schroeder, CFA, currently serves as Senior Director of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since January 2021, after holding the role of Director in the same department. Previously, Paul was Director of Global Business Development at Abbott Diabetes Care from May 2016 to January 2021, where responsibilities included managing the corporate development strategy for digital health and overseeing transaction execution. Earlier experience includes Senior Manager, Strategic Advisory Services at Silicon Valley Bank, focusing on venture investments and acquisitions, and various roles at Paramit Corporation in market analysis and marketing strategy. Paul holds an MBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University.
