Daniel R. Williams has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Daniel R. started their career at National Semiconductor as a Design Engineer in 1974. Daniel R. then moved on to The Boeing Company (then McDonnell Douglas) where they conducted research on EMC disturbances in Integrated Circuits and developed software for missile test sets and in vitro diagnostics products. In 1989, they joined bioMerieux as a Principal Engineer, specializing in project leadership and manufacturing processes. Daniel R. also served as a program manager for two outside ECM providers. In 1990, they became an Instructor at St. Louis Community College, teaching electrical engineering classes to both students and industrial partners such as ATT Telecommunications and Chrysler Corporation.

Daniel R. Williams attended Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1970 to 1974, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
