Michael Reynier attended the Ecole normale supérieure from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Master 2 degree in Biology - biochemistry - neurobiology. Additionally, from 2000 to 2002, they studied at AgroParisTech and earned a Mastère degree in Economics - Life sciences. Finally, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Mastère spécialisé in Economics, Land planning, and Management at the Ecole nationale du Génie rural, des Eaux et des Forêts.
