Wenmei Shi's work experience begins in 2001 as a Sr. Staff Scientist at Motorola Life Sciences and continues with various roles at different companies. Wenmei served as a Principal Staff Scientist at Clinical Micro Sensors, a Sr. Quality Engineer and Manager at bioMerieux, and later assumed the roles of Sr. Manager and Lead Auditor in Global Quality Support at the same organization. Wenmei Shi's responsibilities included managing clinical trials for molecular companion diagnostics, establishing quality management systems, performing audits, and providing guidance on regulatory compliance. Wenmei'sexpertise also involved leading research and development efforts, coordinating projects, and developing assays.
Wenmei Shi holds a post-doctoral degree in Neurobiology from Caltech. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biochemistry from Peking University. Wenmei then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neurobiology and Behavior from Stony Brook University. After completing their PhD, they also pursued a post-doctoral degree in Physiology & Biophysics from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
