Brandon Conover's work experience begins in 2001 with engineering co-op positions at ANSYS, Inc. and Eaton Corporation. In 2010, they joined Bennett Aerospace as a research engineer, eventually moving up to senior research engineer and director of research roles. During this time, they managed projects for next-generation technologies and provided technical advisory for business development. In 2015, they became the CTO and VP of Business Development at Bennett Aerospace, responsible for aligning technology strategy with overall business objectives. In 2018, they joined BioMojo LLC as the Chief Technology Officer. Finally, in 2013, they became the CEO of Practical Scientific Solutions, Inc., a small business that focuses on applying multidisciplinary expertise to meet the needs of government and industry customers in various science and technology fields.
Brandon Conover has a strong education history in the field of engineering. Brandon obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering / Photonics from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Brandon then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. Following this, Brandon continued their academic journey at the same university and obtained their PhD in the same field of study, Electrical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering, from 2007 to 2011.
