Previously, Josh worked at Arkana Laboratories as a Grant Writer / Scientist from March 2019 to April 2021, focusing on research and development for kidney disease assays and grant writing for project funding. Sports a solid academic background with a postdoctoral position at UCLA from October 2014 to December 2016, studying sensory axon ensheathment in zebrafish, and a graduate student experience at Vanderbilt University from September 2006 to February 2013, investigating Fgf signaling in brain development. The research career began at Vanderbilt University in a Research Assistant role from 2001 to 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin and continued studies at The Marine Biological Laboratory since 2010.
