Martin Muggli, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Bionano Genomics, Inc., with a strong background in computer science and engineering. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior professional experience encompasses roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Xilinx, where Martin led the development of simulation model compilers and enhanced VHDL and Verilog parsers, as well as research assistance at Colorado State University. Earlier work included serving as an Applications Engineer at Xilinx, troubleshooting customer issues, and a Corps Member with Americorps, providing hurricane relief and teaching conflict resolution skills.
