Arpan Chakraborty

Arpan Chakraborty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and lab informatics, currently serving as Associate Director of Global Digitalization Project Management at BioNTech SE since May 2023. In this role, Arpan is responsible for steering multiple projects across R&D and Manufacturing domains, managing LabVantage LIMS implementation, and driving the digitalization process for international sites. Prior to this, Arpan worked at Tata Consultancy Services from December 2009 to April 2023, holding various leadership positions, including Lab Informatics Delivery Lead and LIMS Consultant Project Manager. Throughout the career, Arpan has demonstrated proficiency in vendor management, resource management, risk identification, and process improvement, while consistently collaborating with stakeholders to propose strategic solutions and enhance operational efficiency. Arpan holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.
