John McDonough

John McDonough is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Chair and CEO of Sunbird Bio, John leads efforts in developing diagnostic tests for neurological disorders. As Chair of the Board of Directors at Cytrellis Biosystems, Inc., John contributes to the advancement of aesthetic medical technologies. Moreover, John founded the Crush Colon Cancer Foundation to support innovative treatments for colon cancer. Previous roles include Founding CEO of T2 Biosystems, COO of Direct Hit Technologies, and various leadership positions at Cytyc Corporation, SoundBite Communications, and Workgroup Technologies. John holds a BS in Business Administration from Stonehill College.
