Charles Houssiere is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as Chief Business Officer and Chief Design Officer at Biotex Inc since September 2007, where management of operations and design is a key responsibility. Prior to this, Charles held various roles at Visualase, Inc., including Director of Engineering & Manufacturing until its acquisition by Medtronic in 2015, and worked as a Design/Mechanical Engineer at Avail Medical briefly before its acquisition by Flextronics. Charles's experience also includes positions at Fairway Medical Technologies, IDev Technologies, MicroNova Technology, and an internship at Baylor College of Medicine. Charles earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
