Alexandra Hernandez, CPA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the biotech and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Finance/Controller at Lineage Cell Therapeutics since September 2019, Alexandra has previously held key financial positions such as Assistant Controller/Director of Finance & Accounting at OncoSec Medical Incorporated and Associate Director of Accounting at Mast Therapeutics, Inc. Earlier in her career, Alexandra contributed as a Consultant for Finance & SOX Compliance at Premier Alliance and as a Senior Accountant at 24 Hour Fitness. Alexandra earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from San Diego State University between 1994 and 2000.
