Mohammad Shokoohi-Yekta

Mohammad Shokoohi-Yekta is a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as the VP of AI at Bioxytech Retina, Inc. since July 2019, where responsibilities include defining data and AI strategy and automating retinal image analysis. Concurrently, Mohammad holds an instructor position at Stanford University, teaching various courses in data science and applied AI, having trained over 2000 students. Previous roles include Senior Director of AI at HeartBeam Inc., where efforts focused on FDA clearance for AI features, and Lead Data & Applied Scientist at Microsoft, leading significant projects that generated millions in savings. Additional experience includes positions at Apple, Samsung Electronics America, and Bosch, as well as academic roles at the University of California, Riverside, UCLA, and General Electric Research. Mohammad earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside, and a B.Sc. in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran.
