Jim Kocis

James Kocis serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for both the Columbia Land Conservancy and the Shaker Museum, contributing to initiatives focused on land conservation and cultural heritage, respectively. As Chairman at Bipsync and Managing Partner at Hudson Street Ventures, James Kocis oversees strategic operations and investment direction. Previously, James Kocis founded and led Burgiss as CEO from 1987 to 2023, emphasizing data standardization and product development to maximize customer value. James Kocis also held a board position at Goodnation, connecting donors with effective nonprofits, and worked as a Project Manager for the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission early in their career. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
