Angela Torres, MSEd, SAS, SDA, serves as the Assistant Vice President of Education at Birch Family Services since April 2023, following an extensive career at Easterseals New York from September 2005 to April 2023. In the role of Senior Director of Early Childhood Education, Torres led oversight of multiple preschool programs, expanded capacity through new site establishment, and collaborated on grants and budgets. Previously, Torres managed preschool operations and opened additional classrooms as Program Director of Education, and ensured compliance in education standards as Assistant Director of Education. Earlier experience includes serving as Curriculum Coordinator at Volunteers of America-Greater New York and teaching special education. Torres holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Master of Arts from The College of New Rochelle, and a Certificate of Advanced Study from The College of Saint Rose.
