Het Shah has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Het started their career as a Site Assistant at Shah Developers in January 2017, where they excelled in explaining drawing assets, negotiating deals, and meeting clients' needs. In September 2018, they joined Castlewall Construction as a Site Assistant, where they reported weekly activities and resolved site issues. From September 2019 to August 2020, Het worked as a Junior Project Coordinator at Bird Construction, assisting in the construction and close-out phases of a $150 million project. In September 2020, they were promoted to Project Coordinator, overseeing a 35-story, 366-unit tower project with a focus on floor plans, amenities, and community access. Currently, Het holds the role of Senior Project Coordinator at Bird Construction.
Het Shah has a solid educational background in the field of construction and civil engineering. Het obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Construction Management from George Brown College, where they studied from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology at the same college from 2018 to 2020.
Additionally, Het Shah has several certifications that enhance their knowledge and skills in the industry. Het obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from LinkedIn in July 2020. In February 2020, they completed the Basics of Supervising certification from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA). Het also obtained the BIM 101 & 3D Navigation certification from Global eTraining in November 2019. Furthermore, they completed the Working at Heights certification and the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) and Project Manager (Project Management) certifications from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) and Procore Technologies, respectively, in September and November 2019.
