Song Yu

Song Yu currently serves as a Senior Director of Engineering at 壁仞科技, overseeing backend implementation and sign-off leadership since January 2020. Concurrently, Song Yu has held a position as a Hardware Engineer at Iluvatar CoreX since February 2018. Previous experience includes a long tenure at AMD starting in April 2009, where roles progressed from Senior Hardware Engineer to Senior Member Technical Staff CAD Engineer, focusing on synthesizing flow maintenance for APU and GPU projects, advanced synthesizing and quality check method development, and low power design flows. Song Yu earned a Master's degree in Micro-electronics and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
