Cansu Elman

Cansu Elman is an accomplished professional in the field of innovation with extensive experience in the sports and healthcare industries. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation for Professional & Orthopedics at BIRKENSTOCK since August 2018, Cansu has held multiple roles including Head of Innovation and Senior Innovation Manager within the same company. Prior experience includes a teaching position at GHS Ringelnatzstraße and various managerial and engineering roles at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd, where responsibilities spanned Bundesliga operations. Additional experience includes research roles at adidas and the SDSU Research Foundation IBACH. Cansu holds a Master of Science in Human Technology in Sports and Medicine from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln and a Bachelor of Arts in Sportwissenschaft from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
