Derek Felton (He/Him)

Derek Felton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Derek started their career at WGNO ABC26 in 2010 as a Photojournalist, beginning as an intern and later being hired as a full-time employee. At WGNO ABC26, they produced content for broadcast and web platforms, handling various tasks such as finding, writing, shooting, and editing stories.

In 2016, Derek joined KHOU-TV as a Photojournalist, where they worked in a fast-paced news environment, producing content for multiple shows. Derek covered breaking news across the country and obtained their FAA UAS (Drone) License during this time.

Currently, Derek is employed at Bitcentral, Inc. as a Deployment Project Manager since 2021. In this role, they are responsible for planning, discovery, building, and implementing Bitcentral broadcast equipment. Derek utilizes proactive problem-solving approaches to avoid delays in the pipeline, working closely with clients.

Prior to their current role, Derek also served as an Implementation Project Manager at Bitcentral, Inc. from September 2021 to November 2022.
