Alex Brammer

Alex Brammer is a seasoned professional in global mining operations and digital strategy, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Mining Operations at Bitfarms since September 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Director of Digital Strategy and Asset Optimization at Talen Energy, where responsibilities included overseeing IT/OT network design and corporate strategy aimed at optimizing costs and promoting decarbonization. Brammer has also held leadership roles with the Bitcoin Today Coalition as Director and Treasurer, and with Luxor Tech as Vice President of Business Development, where strategic corporate partnerships and market expansion were prioritized. Alex’s extensive military background in the US Army includes roles such as Director of Operations and various leadership positions, augmenting expertise in operational planning and personnel management. Alex holds a PhD in Politics from Queen's University Belfast, alongside several other degrees from prestigious institutions, including an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
