Joe Capes

Joe Capes is the CEO of LiquidStack, a leading provider of high-performance computing and liquid cooling technologies. Prior to this role, he was the Head of Bitfury Allied Control, Capes served as Global Director of Cooling Offer Development for Schneider Electric’s cloud and service provider customer segment. He has held senior-level management positions in sales, marketing, product management and business development for Schneider Electric, spanning 19 years of service with the company. Capes is an accomplished entrepreneur and start-up company executive with extensive mergers and acquisitions experience. He was previously vice president of Sales and Marketing for Premium Power, responsible for the commercialization of advanced battery power systems used in telecoms, utility and renewable energy applications. Capes was also co-founder and general manager of Coolcentric, a company that provides high efficiency liquid cooling solutions for data centers and high-performance computing applications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and is named as an inventor in several patents related to data center cooling technologies.
