Lia Hinrichs

Lia Hinrichs currently serves as the AFC Compliance Lead at Bitpanda, overseeing the Anti-Financial Crime Compliance Programme and Process Management since May 2022. Prior to this role, Lia worked as a Senior AFC Compliance Officer at EY from January 2021 to April 2022. Lia also gained experience as an AML Auditor at PAVIS Payments GmbH in late 2020, and as an AML & Compliance Analyst. Earlier in the career, Lia held a position as a Revenue Management Intern at Staycity Group in 2017. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law and Economics from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in International Business Law from Hochschule Schmalkalden. Additionally, Lia completed Erasmus exchange semesters at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences and Universidad de Jaén, focusing on International Business and Spanish Language, respectively.
