Dr. Marcus Haberstroh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr. Marcus is currently serving as the Managing Director and COO/CFO at SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator since April 2022. In 2019, they founded and became the Managing Director of BITROAD GmbH. Additionally, they joined COLIVIA in April 2021 as a member of the Advisory Board. Dr. Haberstroh also began serving as an Advisor/Beirat at ALARIN CAPITAL in February 2023. Furthermore, they hold a position as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Central Germany at Stifterverband since September 2022. Prior to their current roles, they worked in various capacities, including as an Interim-Manager undertaking transformation management, COO and CDO roles in different companies. Dr. Marcus also served as a Professor for Business Administration at IU International University of Applied Sciences from October 2017 to March 2018 and as the Head of Dean's Office at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management from July 2015 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Principal at Infosys Consulting from April 2014 to June 2015 and as a Strategy & Operations Consultant at PwC from November 2011 to March 2014.
Dr. Marcus Haberstroh has a Doctorate degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Dr. Marcus also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Law from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, as well as a Master's degree in International Business & Law from MCI | The Entrepreneurial School™. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Haberstroh has obtained several certifications, including Business Moderator & Trainer from MODERATIO, Certified Project Manager from ibo Beratung und Training GmbH, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from PwC Deutschland.

To this end we provide (co-working) office space at SPINNEREI (Leipzig’s Cotton Mill), an internationally renowned venue for arts, culture and business. Our technology partners are able to provide key resources to help you make your ideas a reality. Highly-motivated coaches and mentors share their know-how and experience as part of our interactive program using team discussions, seminars, workshops and other formats. We share our extensive network of venture capital investors, experienced entrepreneurs and industry and technology experts with you. SpinLab does not charge anything and takes no equity share. We are looking for passionate, innovative, technology-oriented and scalable teams with an open mindset and the required motivation and capabilities to realize their dreams.
