Lukas Zechel serves as Partner and Managing Director at BITROAD GmbH since January 2019 and at SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator since September 2021. In addition, Lukas is a Business Angel and Investor at Haberstroh Zechel Beratung und Beteiligung UG, a position held since December 2019. An interim COO role at Cenero.one GmbH was undertaken from August 2023 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead IT-Consulting at Softline Solutions GmbH and as a Strategy Consultant at Boston Consulting Group in 2018. Lukas also worked as Lead Business Developer at Feram GmbH and participated in Venture Development at Project A Ventures in 2017. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. oec. in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, alongside master's degrees in Business Management and Management from Universidad del Pacífico and HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, respectively, and bachelor's degrees in Business Management from Laurea University of Applied Sciences and in International Management from HTWK Leipzig.

Our mission is to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in the center of Germany and beyond by providing hands-on guidance to startups and spin-offs. Entrepreneurial teams remain independent - we won’t do your job for you - but we can help you to achieve incredible results through our tailored program. To this end we provide (co-working) office space at SPINNEREI (Leipzig’s Cotton Mill), an internationally renowned venue for arts, culture and business. Our technology partners are able to provide key resources to help you make your ideas a reality. Highly-motivated coaches and mentors share their know-how and experience as part of our interactive program using team discussions, seminars, workshops and other formats. We share our extensive network of venture capital investors, experienced entrepreneurs and industry and technology experts with you. SpinLab does not charge anything and takes no equity share. We are looking for passionate, innovative, technology-oriented and scalable teams with an open mindset and the required motivation and capabilities to realize their dreams.
