Bits of Good
Shivani Vora is currently an undergraduate teaching assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, contributing to courses in Computer Organization and Programming as well as Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming, helping support over 800 students each semester. In addition, Shivani serves as a frontend developer for Bits of Good, developing a volunteer management platform for a non-profit organization. Previous experience includes a software engineering internship at Yahoo, where work focused on optimizing delivery systems, and roles in customer service within a candy store and as a golf caddie. Shivani's internship with LoisLabs involved creating educational resources in machine learning, showcasing a commitment to accessible computer science education. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, Shivani's academic journey follows a high school diploma from Berwick Academy.
Bits of Good
Bits of Good is a student-run Georgia Tech College of Computing organization that connects talented undergraduate software developers with local Atlanta nonprofits to work on projects that are mutually beneficial to both nonprofits and students. Nonprofits gain new tools for advancing their social missions while the students refine their skills and expand their portfolios by using computing knowledge to provide real-world solutions.
