Chris Lieb

Chris Lieb is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in middleware architecture, microservices, and cyber security technologies. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at BitSight since December 2015, Chris has led the establishment of a five-year plan for middleware architecture and the Core Middleware team, overseeing both Python/Django and microservices running on Kubernetes. Chris's previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at BAE Systems, where contributions ranged from developing automatic flight plan generators to implementing new build systems and mentoring engineers. With a compelling educational background, holding both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Kettering University respectively, Chris Lieb combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive innovation and efficiency in software development.
